Question by srgraham14: Small 2X2 patch in my foundation that I need to sand down. Is there any way besides renting a floor sander?
We are putting down laminate and this patch is about 1/4in higher than the rest of the floor. I hate to rent a huge machine for such a small spot. Is there anything like a grinder or dremel type tool that I can use instead?
Yes, it is a foundation not a basement

Use a floor sander. Is this a basement slab? I’m sure it isn’t a foundation.

Question by Ayesha H: hi, how do i laminate my fabrics for craft? is there any cheapest way to laminate or a cheap machine? thanks?

Best answer:

Answer by Diane B.
There’s clear plastic sheeting that can be purchased at fabric stores which can be ironed onto fabric (can’t remember brand names right now, but they’ll know what you want).

You could also just use clear Contact paper, or even adhesive-backed laminating sheets from an office supply store, but think the fabric store stuff may be washable as well as more supple.

HTH,

Diane B.

If you go to your local copy-shop type place, they should be able to laminate your cards for dirt cheap.
