Question by Katherine L: What happens if you use 10 mil laminating pouches in a 5 mil laminating machine?
I’m looking for a laminating machine that can accomodate 10 mil thickness, but they all seem fairly expensive. So I was wondering, would it be catastrophic to use a 5 mil machine? Or would it not come out at all? Thanks.

I’m doing a project for my child’s kindergarten class. I want to use these laminate pouches but it says on the package to use in a laminator machine…..but can I just use an iron and cheesecloth?

Yes- most require the paper pouch… read the instructions that came with the laminator. It will tell you if you need one for sure or not. If it says to use one then you should- otherwise you could ruin everything.
