Q&A: Will someone please explain the difference between a Sizzix, Xyron, Cuttlebug, and a Cricut?

It looks like a Cricut machine would replace punches because you can cut out shapes and fonts from their cartridges which would replace buying punches . A Sizzix and Cuttlebug cut out things but you have to buy the dies. A Xyron makes stickers and can laminate. Is that the right of it?
Any pros/cons of any one that you have tried?

I am not sure about the differences between them but I just tried a Cricket this weekend. It actually worked very well. The only think is that it only comes with one cartridge and each additional cartridge is about ! I would never buy one simply for the fact that I would get sick of the shapes on the cartridge I have and I wouldn’t want to spend more money on cartridges.
