Where do you place temp license plates on cars? Do you place them where the hard plates go? Or in the rear window? Because I drove up to Ohio and have tinted windows that I believe are past the legal limit in Ohio and makes it hard to see them in the rear window. I ask this because someone I know told me it was illegal to place temp tags on the rear of the car where to permanent tags go. Also I have a laminator… is it legal to laminate the temp tags so they don’t get wet and ruined?

Put it on the back bumper, where the plates go. That is the legal place.

I would place it on a non-slip carpet, cause my guess is it wouldn’t end well. Just a guess though.
