Question by KLD: What will best protect a wood laminate floor?
I want to cover the floor with something to protect it from a heavy exercise/weight machine and weights. I want this floor to look good when the covering and exercise machine are long gone.

polyurethane glossy overcoat. you’ll lose some shine after all the equipment is gone but so long as nothing is dropped or draggd across the floor, you should be okay another coat will most likely be necessary.

Question by jdacms3: what is the best way to make file folder games?
I want to make some file folder games for my son, and I am curious the best way to go about this. I did this in HS for a preschool class we had, but we laminated everything. I don’t have a laminator so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on the best way to make these so the paper in boh the files and the pieces don’t get ruined. Thanks

You can laminate with the self sticking kind of pages – you don’t need a laminator. Or you can use the plastic sheet protectors.
Look in an office supply store.

use Blue Tack?
u SHOULD NOT use magnets as the machines generally have iron parts and comp. and other elec. stuff r magnetic based themselves… for their “memory” and the like… so the memory might be afftected … for ver strong magnets, it might even get erased… thts y u shld never use a magnet near CDs, DVDs etc. they get erased!

Question by BabyQuestions: What is the best type laminator to buy?
for small projects such as laminating 4×6, 8×10 pictures?
I’d probably use it also with some art work my son made.
I was thinking if I laminated it, it would last longer.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Xyron is great because it doesn’t use heat or electricity. You can get them at Michaels, look for a coupon and you get 40percent off
