Question by smoothoperator: Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement laminator to the Brother LX-900?
Brother – The Brother LX-900 has discontinued their cool laminator. Does anyone have a suggestion to replace this model? I really like this model and roll laminators with cool sealing. So if anyone out there has knowledge of the Brother LX-900 and could recommend something similar I would be grateful.

Using lamination roll on pouch laminator?

Question by Ethan Lowe: Using lamination roll on pouch laminator?
The don’t sell pouches in the size I want. Can I purchase a lamination roll, cut it to the size I want, and use it on a pouch laminator? Would it work just the same?

No, you should never use lamination material from a roll in a pouch laminator. The adhesiveness of the lamination roll can damage your pouch laminator. Laminating pouches are made to be sealed by heat, and the heat that the pouch laminating machines produce will melt the adhesive on the lamination roll and damage your machine.
