Question by Queen of (suspension) Yack: Why is it we can imagine far worse scenarios for hell than what we are taught?
Sorry but the idea of hell as it is depicted now really does not scare me.
My idea of hell encompasses something more like having a job where I fix laminators all day while listening to nothing but Polka music and being force fed chicken flavored Ramen Noodles and in my spare time I am forced to aimlessly wander WalMart and listen to parents bribe their kids to shut up with the promise of a new toy.
Don’t you think if god really wants to punish us he would actually utilize things that we hate with extreme passion in our earthy lives? Oh is he just not creative like that?

Question by John H: How do I transport 380 kgs of office hardware from China to USA?
I found a company in FUYANG,HANGZHOU,CHINA (Zip: 311401) who is going to be manufacturing office document laminators for us. In total the shipment will weigh 380 kgs and will be 2.4 CBM (cubic meters). We ultimately need to get the items to Scottsdale, Arizona, USA 85251.
The manufacturer does not know how to ship to us. Do you have any ideas on what the best methods to do this are, any ballpark price estimates, and/or any company referrals? Thanks in advance.

I think all countries have the same standard on International Trade. Every countries have Customs Authority to inspects and examine the shipment that you brought from China. You need to ship the office document laminators to the US together with the Invoice and other documents as proof of payments so that the Customs Officials in the US can determine the exact amount of duties and taxes that you need to pay.

Question by upwardly_mobile_home: Why do libraries insist on hurting local businesses?
My local library has faced budget problems. They have cut back hour, programs, purchases, etc. Wages are supposedly frozen for all staff members. Clerks make per hour at top of scale. They start at 90% and reach full pay the 5th year. Library assistants have two grades, Associates Degree and less than 5 years experience is called Assistant Librarian, they make per hour, again start at 90% and full at 5 years. Librarian, who has Bachelors Degree or Associates with over 5 years experience gets per hour.
This is where it gets amusing… Department Heads (Adult, Children and Circulation) need a Masters degree or a Bachelors with over 5 years experience. The starting salary for these three hens is ,650 per year. After 5 years, they get ,280. This is for a 37.5 hour work week including a paid 45 min lunch.
The director is the biggest joke of them all, mother goose has been there since Ford was in the White House. She worked her way up to the top by about 1990. She’s getting ,400 for hurting me!
I had a prosperous copy shop until a few years ago. People would come here and order printing, sit at Mac or PC’s with programs like Adobe Pagemaker, Illustrator and Photoshop. They would even pay per hour to sit at a PC with Microsoft Publisher 98, Word 97, Excel 97 and WordPerfect 8 or 9 not all that long ago.
Now anyone with a library card can use Corel WordPerfect X4, Corel Draw X3, Microsoft Office Small Business 2007 and even a bunch of Serif programs to do everything from movie editing to web design… FOR FREE! Destroyed that part of my business!
I go in today to see them running two copiers, a color laser, laminator, 24″ HP inkjet, binding, folding, trimming, etc. All the stuff I do, for about 25% less than me! While I think they pay themselves too much, they need to raise revenue, why do it at my expense? This isn’t fair. It is hurting me. They are driving me out of business. Should I start lending books out? How would they like it if I hurt their business? What can I do???!!!
