The laminator itself can be any laminating device; but the pouch part comes from the laminate being a pocket or pouch with at least one side joined beforehand.
A card or sheet of paper is placed inside the pouch and then this is run through the laminator.

Pouch Laminators use a lamination pouch that is usually sealed on one side. The inside of the lamination pouch is coated with a heat-activated film that adheres to the product being laminated as it runs through the laminator. Pouches can be bought with different thicknesses and sizes. A Pouch Laminator is good for small volume / home use.
