My remodeling contractor cut ceramic tile and laminate floor panel in door cause very bad sawdust smell after contraction, it could be from paint, I am not sure. I tried Kenmore air clean machine and fan to blow air out for two weeks, also wipe wall and ceiling twice, i used vinegar, I bought four plants to absorb smell,…etc… please help.

Time. But in addition get a couple of very good quality diffusers ,same scent, and put on opposite sides of the room.
Good luck. I have had an oreck air purifier for a couple of years and it works really well.

You probably have dust in the ventilation system. Oh, and plants don’t absorb smells.
To reduce the dust in the air, remove the vent covers and use a canister vacuum to get as much dust out of the vents as you can. Stuff the longest vacuum hose down the vent as far as it can go, and suck the dust out. Change the air filter on the furnace, today and again in a few days as the dust you loosened in the ducts gets collected.
The fans simply blew the dust around and kept it in the air where you can smell it.
