i just bought a laminator and the sheets of paper it says something like i have to put the paper between it and slide it through the machine and it should work well it isnt sticking together.

You may want to turn up the temperature on it. The higher the number the better it gets laminated but let it warm up first, it will light up green or whatever color yours does and then put it in. Hope this helps.

I used to use laminators as a Navy Instructor, and we used two types… one for single 8.5×11 sheets (like yours?), and another for 3ft wide jobs with an “endless” roller sheet.
BOTH typically took 15-20 minutes to WARM UP… for the heating element to get hot enough to melt the adhesive and laminate the plastics together.
The other possible problem is that the rollers aren’t applying enough pressure… the instructions for YOUR laminator SHOULD have a procedure to adjust the pressure.
