Can I use an iron on laminate pouches made for a personal laminator machine?

I’m doing a project for my child’s kindergarten class. I want to use these laminate pouches but it says on the package to use in a laminator machine…..but can I just use an iron and cheesecloth?

no because the iron you want to use is not hot enough to do the job correctly.
